Caramel Apple Superfood Nachos

With a rich coconut caramel and topped with superfoods, these party-friendly snacks are better for you on every level than a traditional candied apple. Serve on a big platter or in individual snack cups!

½ cup Coconut Butter

½ cup Maple Syrup

3 Tbsp Navitas Organics Coconut Palm Sugar

¼ tsp Sea Salt

8 tart Green Apples, cored and cut into thin wedges

1/3 cup unsweetened Shredded Coconut

1/3 cup Navitas Organics Cacao Sweet Nibs

2 Tbsp Navitas Organics Hemp Seeds


In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the coconut butter, maple syrup, Coconut Palm Sugar and salt. Cook for 5 minutes, whisking constantly, until sauce is fully liquified and bubbling. Remove from heat and let cool for 2 minutes to thicken slightly.

On a large platter (or single serve cups), layer the apple slices in a mound. Generously drizzle the coconut caramel on top, and sprinkle lightly with coconut shreds, Cacao Sweet Nibs and Hemp Seeds. Serve at room temperature or refrigerate if not serving immediately.
