Privacy Policy

Protecting your privacy is important to us. We hope the following statement will help you understand how Navitas Organics collects, uses and safeguards the personal information you provide to us on our site.

i. Information collected
We collect customer billing, shipping and product ordering information. This is the basic information necessary to perform our accounting and display your on-line receipt. We also may use it to plan our inventory and promotions to better match our customer's needs.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website in order to optimize your experience and improve functionality. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect standard visitor behavior information, but no personally identifiable information is collected unless you explicitly submit that information on our website. The information collected is used to compile analytics reports on website activity for our website and allows us to display appropriate promotional material on other websites you visit. You may choose to opt out by changing the settings on your web browser.

ii. Who sees the information collected?
We keep your information completely confidential. We do not sell your information or share it with any outside organization (affiliates/subsidiaries/partner/individual/organizations working on our behalf are not considered outside organizations).

iii. Customer inquiries
We take your privacy seriously. Any customer inquiry should be directed to info@navitasorganics.com where it will be promptly answered.

iv. Credit card safety
Protecting the safety of your credit card information is important to us.

We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect the security of your credit card information as it is transmitted to us. SSL is the gold standard in Internet encryption technology, which is a fancy way of saying that it's a highly sophisticated method of scrambling data as it travels from your computer to our website's servers.

We also DO NOT store your credit card number or the expiration date or the CVV2/CID on our servers. The credit card is forwarded through the encrypted SSL layer to our credit cart transaction processor. Their site is protected by layers of firewall, security systems and a full time staff of security experts.

In order to assist you when you call to inquire about a particular transaction, we store only the last 4 digits of the card number and the type of card (visa/mc/amex). This minimal information is enough to help you identify which credit card you used to pay for a purchase without any compromise to the security of your credit card information.

v. Bank or credit card company liability
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank or credit card company cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of unauthorized or fraudulent charges on a credit card. Your liability for unauthorized use of a debit card may be higher, but most debit card issuers voluntarily apply the $50 limit to their cards as well. For more information on the Fair Credit Billing Act you can visit:

Remember: If unauthorized use of your credit or debit card does occur, you must notify your card provider, in accordance with the agreement you have with the company.
