Chia Berry Fresca Recipe

This healthy, refreshing drink made with simple, fresh ingredients is the perfect way to start your day! Organic chia seeds add protein, fiber and omega-3s for a nutritious boost, and you can customize it with different fruit, add juice or seltzer water for some bubbles or even mix in one of your favorite superfood powders!

INGREDIENTS

1 Tbsp. Navitas Organics Chia Seeds
½ Tbsp. lemon juice
½ Tbsp. pure maple syrup* (can sub. honey or agave)
1 Tbsp. raspberries (fresh or frozen)*
1 cup water
Lemon slices, to garnish
Ice cubes, if desired

DIRECTIONS

To a glass, add chia seeds, lemon juice, maple syrup and berries.

Pour water into glass and stir until ingredients are combined.

Place drink in fridge for 5-10 minutes to allow chia seeds to soak.

Add fresh lemon slices and a few ice cubes, if desired. Enjoy!

Substitutions:
● Pure maple syrup can be substituted with honey or agave nectar.
● Raspberries can be substituted with blueberries, sliced strawberries, or mixed berries.

Fun ways to customize this drink:
● Use 1/4 cup of your favorite fresh juice such as orange, cranberry, cherry, etc. instead of adding fruit.
● Top off your drink with seltzer water to add some fizz!
● Mix in one of your favorite Navitas Organics superfoods for an extra health boost. Pomegranate Powder or Elderberry Powder would taste delicious in this drink recipe!
