Quinoa Cacao Maca Granola

Quinoa Cacao Maca Granola

This satiating granola hits the mark on both flavor and nutrition by sneaking in a healthful serving of chocolate with only a hint of sweetness.

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 cups Rolled Oats

1 1/2 cups I Heart Keenwah Toasted Quinoa Flakes

1 cup Pumpkin Seeds

3/4 cup Navitas Organics Cacao Powder

1 tbsp Navitas Organics Maca Powder

1/3 cup unsweetened Coconut Fakes

Pinch of Sea Salt

1/3 cup Coconut Oil

1/3 cup Maple Syrup (or other sweetener of choice)

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

DIRECTIONS

In a mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients: oats, quinoa flakes, pumpkin seeds, Cacao Powder, Maca Powder and coconut flakes. Set aside.

Add coconut oil, maple syrup and vanilla to a saucepan and heat on the stove over medium heat until mixture starts to bubble. Add to dry ingredients and stir until well combined.

Spread on a baking sheet and bake at 340F for 20-25 minutes (stirring the mixture at the halfway point to make sure the granola doesn't burn).

Let cool and enjoy on its own or with nut milk. Store in an air-tight container.
