Powdered Doughnut Bites Recipe

These quick, no-cook (and non-fried!) doughnut bites are a great way to curb sweet cravings and energize through the afternoon slump with all-natural and nutrient-dense ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup + 1 Tbsp. almond flour, divided

1 Tbsp. Navitas Organics Gelatinized Maca Powder

¾ tsp. ground cinnamon, divided

¼ tsp ground cardamom

⅛ tsp. sea salt

1 tsp. vanilla extract

½ cup Medjool dates, pitted (about 7-8 large dates)

½ cup raw pecans

1 Tbsp. coconut palm sugar

DIRECTIONS

In a food processor, combine 1 cup of almond flour, maca powder, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, cardamom, and salt. Blitz to combine. Add the vanilla and dates, and process until a sticky dough has formed. Add the pecans and process until well incorporated and crumbly.

In a small bowl, mix together the remaining almond flour, ¼ teaspoon cinnamon, and coconut palm sugar. Scoop up a tablespoon of the dough mixture, form into a ball and roll in the almond mixture to coat the exterior. Repeat with remaining balls.

Stored at room temperature, powdered doughnut bites will last for several weeks.
