Peanut Butter Maca Cookies

The mild combination of savory and sweet peanut butter mixed into smooth, nutty dough, elevated with the superfood boost of adaptogenic Maca gives this cookie its charming, nostalgic flavor.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/2 Tbsp. vanilla extract

1/2 cup flour

1 ½ Tbsp. Navitas Organics Maca Powder

2 Tbsp. almond milk

1 tsp. sea salt

Topping:

5 oz. vegan dark chocolate

1 Tbsp. Navitas Organics Hemp Seeds

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350F. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, maple syrup, almond milk and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, Maca Powder and sea salt, and mix well.
Use approx. 1 Tbsp. of dough per cookie. Form small balls of dough and slightly flatten each cookie onto a parchment-lined baking sheet with a fork.
Bake for approx. 10- 14 minutes.
In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave chocolate in 15-minute intervals, stirring frequently until chocolate is smooth and melted through.
Once cookies are baked, let sit for 15 minutes to cool. Drizzle chocolate over cookies with a fork and finish off with a sprinkle of Hemp Seeds.
